Convolvulus sabatius syn.Convolvulus mauritanicus

Help me identify this plant is this a wild #morningglory? It was growing close to the ditch near my neighbors home. @cyndi it only blooms in the morning or I thought it may have been some sweet pototao.

Yes it is i had one but it died a few months later i took it out the ground it made these flowers@PunkyKy

Ok...i was wondering....i has seed pods just like the morning glory....i was checking it out cause I wanted some seeds...lol.... but thanks for the.info @cyndi ....i won't get any....maybe get some for my mom.....she has a spot out by her road where it would look great at!

Yes it was doing that to me to this morning.... @hannahchristine I just finally said screw it and quit messing with it....i guess they have everything fixed now.

Here are a few links that may help....the pic of your plant I had growing wild when I lived in Tx....took over everything, I hated it for that reason...choked out a lot of blackberries and other vines...took over my garden fence 😣pain in my butt!
