Good morning everyone! My #sycamore #fig has by far the largest #ficus leaves I've ever seen, with a 12 inch diameter. Native to Africa, It was cultivated by the ancient Egyptians as the Tree Of Life, and has figured several times in the bible. It bears #edible fruit, although mine would need to be planted into the ground for that. I'm hoping to train it into a semi-bonsai growth until I can finally plant it out someday! #newongt #new #foliage #fruit #SycamoreFig #african
I've planted it in very rich soil, so it's growing well even in a 10 inch terracotta pot.
