Hi Mark! Nope, this is my first time too! I've grown these from seeds from a market-bought fruit. I'm just going to grow it as I would another cactus, with some help from the internet of course 😊 @hagar

Good morning GTers. Here's an update on my dragon fruit seedlings. They've developed their prickly leaves (true leaves I suppose) and I've planted them out individually. #dragonfruit #cactus #succulent #update #gyo #upclose @diannezchilds

I just started mine and now they are all germinating. How are yours doing? Have you separated them into individual pots? I'm still trying to decide if I should keep them all together?

Good morning GTers!! The seeds I collected from a dragon fruit have finally germinated in masses!! I'm not the greatest fan of the somewhat bland fruit, but it doesn't quell the excitement I'm feeling right now! #dragonfruit #gyo #urbangardening #seeds #germination #cactus

Method: I washed out the seeds from the pulp and left them on a cotton cloth for a couple days to dry in the sun. I then used the plastic container the fruit came in as a greenhouse and surface-sowed the seeds. Germination occurred in a week. I've tried another method wherein the seeds are left in damp conditions to germinate, before sowing them out, but this seems to have worked better! #tip
