Mulberry tree - yum yum. Fruit is awesome. Loved by the birds and stains your hands when picking. Best jam ever!!!!! Leaves loved by silkworms - great children's pet, originally from China silk trade. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morus_(plant)

@Pushkraj where are you located? Love your garden. I'm located in Mumbai, wondering if the mulberries will grow here..

Thanks @sarab_sprouts :) yes you can grow mulberries in Mumbai. Try to acquire a grafted variety, which bears fruit in a container (like mine does!!)

@sarab_sprouts btw I'm from Pune.

The climate in Pune is cooler than Mumbai though. Where can I get the grafted variety from? And I tried to grow lavender from seeds.. germination rate was hopelessly 10% where did you get your lavender seeds from? P.S. I ask lots of questions.

@sarab_sprouts yeah Pune is cooler but at the moment it's only fractionally cooler. We are in the midst of a heatwave and my mulberry plant is giving me very sweet fruit. I grow it in shade.

@sarab_sprouts I bought my mulberry from Pune itself - do let me know if you plan to visit and I'll send you directions to the nursery.
