This stunning coloured thyme was taken in the walled garden of Barrington Court in mid-June. Is it a particular variety? The plant's spread was about 1 metre and a half, and it rose up about 40cm.

Thymes can be very difficult to identify. It is probably a variety of T. polytrichus, which are usually wrongly listed as T. serpyllum.
