Help me identify this plant #plantid how do you identify which type of Lilly this is? I thought Easter Lilly but now I’m not sure.

Looks like an Asiatic #Lily. Beautiful.

The asiatics have a different leaf structure than the orientals and they are just beginning to bloom in my yard; zone 7. Beautiful strong color.

Looks like the orange spotted flower of the Tiger Lily. Lilium Lancifolium (tigrinum) (Asian species). Never understand why they are named 'Tiger Lily' when they have spots; Leopard Lily would make more sense to me 🤔. The Orientals are more showy and have a star like shape at flower base. @cyndi @maldavis @lovestogarden 🐝🐝 please feel free to differ. I think the common names of lilies is murky and has regional differences. 🙃

Great information @Annettenoosa. I agree, Leopard Lily would make more sense. 👏👏👏
