If this doesn't fill in I'll just put a statue in the spot.

Anyone know why my azalea is dieing? I found a garter snake 🐍 under it. Is that killing it? #advice
@Racheltheredhead definitely nothing to do with a snake. They prefer a higher acidic Ph than most plants. I would get the soil tested. Some branches look like they may have been broken, possibly squirrels fighting in it? Watering can be a factor, too much, or too little. Too much heat, stress can be a factor. Regular water and feeding during the growing season solves most issues 😉
@treefrog44 thank you. I'll fertilize and prune tomorrow.

#hot-pink #azalea I love this color. I like having the 2 different colors next to each other. How do you know what variety you have?

If this doesn't fill in I'll need another statue. But this one gets more light, so I'm hopeful. 🙏
Is it a quick grower? Fingers crossed it fills the gaps. I find them quite slow growing generally.
