@ladeebug Not much foliage to show: it's a tiny flower that I found growing in my front yard, on a small stem.

It looks like a violet. #viola-odorata I love these little dears. When I was a toddler I would pick them and float them in a cup of water and call it "violet soup."

@RaelynnSmith I could be wrong but it has a fuzzy petal and markings like an iris
