Acer palmatum 'Heartbeat' (Dissectum Group) syn. Acer palmatum var. dissectum 'Heartbeat'

Would like some advice on my Acer it's doing really well here but the main stem forked in 2, now both those have forked in 2 so I have 4 stems although it's doing ok here the tips are curling it doesn't see any direct sun light like it did last year which did burn the leaves it's 3 years old and i've never cut it as not sure how or if it will kill it any advice would be amazing thank you

@RavenWolf-08 you’re doing the right thing keeping it out of the wind and it looks lovely 🍁it could have dried out a bit too much and that has caused the leaves to go a bit brown round the edges. Give it a really good soak when the compost gets dry and it should be fine 🍁🤞
