@moore.794 if been told it from our local historian it looks different but does have the same taste it states back to when the Europeans came to south Africa apparently but did not do research myself and their are more than one species this one grows wild where there is little water Iive in a very dry area and cold winters and it doesn't get harmed when there is frost
