Jephthae, my wife, planted this beautiful section of sweet corn. Has really taken off over the past couple of days! Laos primarily enjoys field corn for eating, so having some sweet corn is a pleasant addition.

@cyndi re feeding, absolutely! We just moved back to Laos, so I'm not sure what testing we have access to yet, but hope to check the soil. The watering (sprinkler) system seems to be working well, though we have to use a lifter pump to get them to operate correctly. I've got fertilizer, but want to make sure not to overdo it. The pumpkins are currently suffering the most (potassium deficiency?). Hope to have that corrected soon, as I've already applied some fertilizer.

@cyndi re 3 sisters, that's what my Mom did when we were growing up and worked well. Jephthae, and her family, did it a little differently, so not as familiar. I'm currently researching options for inexpensive land rental in our village. For a fairly small amount per year, I might be able to get a hectare or half hectare. I've been wanting to make an AI disease and deficiency app for Southeast Asian farmers, so it would be a great multipurpose endeavor.

@cyndi thanks for your advice on the pumpkins/potassium deficiency! I'm going to look into these options and see what I can find - I have access to a few of them. I'll also try to add tags for my plants with Laos. I searched for Laos/Lao/Vientiane and didn't find anything yet, but I'll add those tags and see what happens! Thanks again, I really appreciate your advice!
