Do you have any trouble with warm season vegies in Canberra ? We have had virtually no sun in melbourne yet. Making the growing very slow.

@deekay it's been slow going here - I lost quite a few tomato plants as the nights have been too cold. Many of my vegis are also growing too slow, with too hot then too cold and dry and windy most days.

I hear you loud and clear 😵. I have been so dejected by the decline of so many of my warm season seedlings. It is my first season too. The sunless windy rainy cold days have been going on since last autumn....or so it seems. 🤢

@KathyB any advice?

@Redbud @deekay @brightcolours have u tried making cloches from plastic soda bottles? They will help warm the soil, protect from wind and if u put a container of water in there as well u can increase the humidity around ur seedling until it's old enough to be more resilient.
