01/18/19 so ages ago my #bleedingheart stopped growing. I cut it back. Assumed it was dormant... but it never came back.. I dumped its old pot to reuse elsewhere, and look! The #tuber looks good with some actual #newgrowth and healthy #roots I’m excited to try it again #secondchance long dormancy?

8/8/18 #bleedingheart has stayed this size forever now never does anything but this. Maybe it needs a new pot.
Definitely plant it up in a bigger pot and bring lift your plant and soul levels up to about 1" from the rim. Mine are all planted in the ground and the won't stop growing bigger!!
I’d love to put it in the ground, but can’t u til we buy a house! I have no more room lol! But yes thank you those are all what I need to do. It used to be pretty full up, but this is one of my oldest plants so the soil is way compacted

#bleedingheart #grownfromseed has been so stagnant. I’ve heard they’re summer dormant, and expected it to start dying back or at least yellowing. None of that yet. But hopefully it grows a bit more soon. In any case, it’s still doing its thing and that’s fine by me.

My bleeding heart ❤️ about six months along from when I first planted the bulb (I think they’re called bulbs though it didn’t look like any I’d seen) #bleedingheart
01/31/19 not that this is much to look at, but here’s a second go at #bleedingheart in a fresh pot of good soil.
