Aronia melanocarpa (Black Chokeberry). Photographed today, 21 May 2017, at Reedie Cottage Garden, East Scotland. Currently full of blossom, which will be followed in late Summer, by big black juicy berries. I usually make a syrup with the berries. Adding some to a mug of hot water, makes a lovely drink which helps to stave off winter colds. #aronia #blackchokeberry #whiteblossom #reediecottagegarden
