Astilbe 'Straussenfeder'. Photographed yesterday, 3 June 2017, at Reedie Cottage Gardens, East Scotland. Also know as Astilbe 'Ostrich Plume'. A particularly attractive and showy variety with arching plumes of coral pink flowers and bronze-tinted, divided foliage. When in full flower, it really does look like an ostrich plume! Bought several for a client, and a few for myself!!! 😀 More pics to come, when it flowers in mid-Summer. #astilbe #straussenfeder #ostrichplume #reediecottagegarden
