Gentiana asclepiadea. Photographed, 2 June 2017, at Reedie Cottage Gardens, East Scotland. Also known as Willow Gentian. This is an herbaceous perennial growing to 1m long, with arching stems bearing lanceolate leaves, and trumpet-shaped deep blue flowers, 4-5cm in length, on the upper-side of the leaf axils in late Summer and early Autumn. #willow #gentian #deepblueflowers #reediecottagegarden
