Cucumis melo var. cantalupensis

This is the last of my cantaloupe. The others were stolen. Dig right out of the ground. A**holes even took my tag. If it happens again, I’ll have to get a camera for the yard. Had a light installed last summer because people were using the yard at night.

Is that from your garden?! Shocking behaviour 😡 I once had a homemade Xmas wreath stolen which was on the inside of the back gate. I could believe the audacity! 😬

@ublaszko Yes, I have a small low fence out front for herbs and other things. It feels like such a violation. I feel like they do these things because they know it’s just me and my kids here and they are trying to intimidate us.

@ublaszko Did they go into your backyard to get it? That would be horrifying.

Can you report it to police that someone is trespassing on your property and stealing from your garden? I'm not sure when my Xmas wreath was stolen. I didn't see anyone hanging around but it might be students getting up to mischief while drunk.
