This has also got windswept and grown twice the size it was. I wasn’t sure how hardy this would be but it’s lasted about three winters now I think

I’ve got 2 of these also blooming their socks off. I’m taking cuttings this weekend in case they don’t overwinter 😁

Thanks Janice 😊 it’s a variety of Agastache aurantiaca but not sure which cultivar. My friend grew them from seed and lost the packet, and there are quite a few orange ones. Makes a change from the purple ones @lovestogarden

First flowers from Agastache aurantiaca (species) - grown from seed and bought at a plant sale at my local Hort society, and it survived the winter and snow we had, although it’s in quite a dryish position in the front garden out of the wet and damp - full sun ☀️ #giantorangehyssop #agastache #agastache-aurantiaca

I was quite surprised it survived the snow and frost Claudia, only a £1 at the local plant group fair 😀 although I think it’s only a short lived perennial, I might try taking cuttings later in the year 👍🏼 @clipperty

That's a wonderful plant there I love Agastache!! You grew it from seed too I'm amazed. It looks good with your plant at the back 😊😊❤❤

Thanks 😊, that is a late autumn flowering Kniphofia at the back (called Happy Halloween) @midnightgardener - I didn’t grow it myself, I bought the seedling from my local garden club plant fair. But they are easy to grow by seed
