Anemone coronaria (De Caen Group) 'Bordeaux'

These are lovely - was never successful with these type of anemones before but I finally got one to flower. I did almost forget to water it over winter, as it’s in a pot, maybe that’s the reason? They're lovely! I've only had one try to bloom but the bud fell out! Somehow. I don't know what's happened to the rest 🤔♥️♥️💜

Love these - grew in my Aunty’s garden when I was a child - I couldn’t pronounce the name called them Memories which is what they will always be to me ❤️

That’s a shame Christine. Sounds like it was so close yet not close enough 🙁. I’ve not had as many flowers as last year but looks like it’s still sending out new shoots. Maybe yours will recover for next year 🤞🏼 @midnightgardener
