He might be a bit late to the party, but this one has started flowering for the first time in the polytunnel at the weekend. Although I’ve had to move him outside now this week as it’s far too hot in there - recorded 46degrees C yesterday 😳🔥🔥 - I’ve taken everything gout other than the grafted tomatoes and a couple of tropical type plants #columbine #granniesbonnet #aquilegia #aquilegia-vulgaris #aquilegiavulgariswilliamguiness

I think I might know why, I checked the pot and realised I still had it in 50% perlite and then the rest as compost and bark. I can't remember why I did this now and I can only think it was cause there was a small bit left in my cuttings bucket.
