Frosty #newgrowth on one of my Buddleja's. I'm loving all the #frost and #winter shots at the moment on GT from everyone 👍🏼 ❄️❄️

And here is a delightly purple one. Time for those butterflies to get stuck in!

Soooo many tiny little tubular flowers on these developing Buddleja stems, each one purple-lilac in colour with orange throats and designed perfectly to suit the proboscis of large butterflies looking to reach the sucrose rich nectar.

And i also learnt today that different butterfly species can be attracted to different Buddleja varieties! Diversity helps nature ☺️
