03/09/19 - Morning 👋🏼 - found this little gem yesterday evening amongst a planted up border outside one of the restaurants here. It’s not a native, so likely planted by the hotel gardeners, but I’m almost certain it’s called Bulbine frutescens - quite low growing, and has thin grass like succulent leaves so makes it ideal for warmer climates. Not much of it which is a shame as I’m sure it would like wonderful as a large clump with the flower stems swaying in the breeze 😍💛🧡

Morning Jane 👋🏼 - and weirdly the name is misleading as it’s not a bulb either 😲 @pelly

I’m going to try finding some of this at home Enid, looks great and might do well in a sunny pot 😊 @godfreye

Oh yes 😊👍🏼, I did see your one and thought it was very similar, then noticed the encyclopaedia had a cultivar name attached to it called ‘Tiny Tangerine’ - I’ve no idea if that could be the same as this one in Greece as the straight species is quite similar - or if it’s the straight species so I decided to use the latter one. Is yours a specific named variety then? Also, what is more popular common name for this - Orange Stalked Bulbine or Burn Jelly Plant? I could maybe edit this @cyndi
