I need to get Camassias into my garden. Don't understand how they've passed me by to date. They're beautiful.

They are spectacular @mikethegardener - am gutted that I can't get over to Wisley right now as they have a whole meadow of Camassia on Weather Hill, would be amazing to see 👌🏼

@richard.spicer.7906 @mikethegardener I fell for Camassias on a visit to East Ruston old vicarage gardens in Norfolk. In a meadow area, I remember a superbly simple plant combination of Camassias, Cow Parsley and a Narcissus poeticus cultivar. Just lovely for the wafty loftiness of it all. I could have stayed there all day listening to the birds singing and the bees humming. Worth a visit but you don't get long to amble and loiter too leisurely (1-5.30pm)!

Sounds wonderful, great mix of plants there @emmalaws , I'll have to look that place up. I'd never heard of Camassias until only about 5 years ago so it's relatively new to me. 👍🏼

Camassia - a native to meadows in North America. I had this delightful plant in my old house, and I'm looking forward to seeing it again. They are not keen on movement after planting so I'm hoping these pots will help minimise any impact.
