Oh that’s a shame Lin - I wonder how it would do in the U.K.? I heard about a similar plant (May even be the same) that is quite invasive on the south coast which they have to regularly remove large chunks of now to control it. @linfoster

@linfoster Was curious and just checked google under Cornwall invasive coastal plants - it is this one! 🙈 seems to do very well in the U.K. 😲 probably was a good thing then that your bit didn’t survive as they are trying to clear large areas of it in Cornwall and south coast - http://www.nonnativespecies.org/factsheet/factsheet.cfm?speciesId=669
