So pleased with the progress of this Colocasia ‘Blue Hawaii’ - the veins seem to get more intense in the sun, but this is still good in partial shade (for about 1/3 of the day) and full sun for rest of day. It’s been well fed and loves damp soil so it gets a good soaking most warm days #colocasia #colocasiaesculentabluehawaii #colocasia-esculenta #elephantear

Ah yes - that is ‘Wall Street’ and it’s where most of my plants are in a holding place. Lots of other little goodies in there. I think I have at least 50 other plants in that lot that I’ve never yet added to my plant list 😳 @ublaszko

In my garden it's called middle of the garden 😂😂 I'm always complaining that I have plants waiting to be arranged but nowhere to store them. So the middle of the garden is often a holding place because I can't see it from the kitchen window but I can still admire them from my garden bench 😅

A few days in the humidity in the polytunnel, and with all this sun recently, my Blue Hawaii elephant ear has really coloured up on its stem and veins, it's going a nice rich cranberry colour #colocasia #colocasia-esculenta #colocasiaesculentabluehawaii #elephantear

@Cazx here’s my other one. No experience with over wintering yet as just my first year but I’ll carry on reading up on them. I think they are probably cheaper to get as bulbs but then need the patience to get them started too. There’s a black on my wish list which I’m looking for - either black coral or black magic - ones a bit too glossy for me though. I prefer the Matt finish 😂
