Any tree experts out there who can tell me what this is? It is suddenly appeared in the woodland part of the garden. Well, I'm sure it's been there for a while and I'm only seeing it now because of these #berries. Is it a hawthorn perhaps?

Are the hedgerows near you full of hawthorn

Possibly - there are a lot of parks and woodland walks nearby. Probably came from something a bird has eaten. It's a nice addition, but in the wrong place - growing to close to another tree at the back. @kateellery40gmailcom

Where I live the fields belonging to the farms are all hawthorn and black berry and a few sloe bushes
