Crocus chrysanthus 'Gipsy Girl'

💛 Bit of Gipsy Girl (the yellow one) appearing amongst Firefly (the purple one). Hopefully this is still there in the morning. The mice seem to have discovered where the corms are planted 😬😬

Love them 💛💜. Hardly anything stays where I plant it, especially bulbs they’re always on the move!

Lol, i wouldn’t mind if they just moved it! I found three to four half eaten corms this morning and little holes 🕳️ 🐭. And then i found my aconites in the garden have been eaten off 🙄 @Auricula

I know Karen, it’s been a problem previously when I had them in pots in the garden. They would dig them up and run to another pot for camouflage and eat their prize and leave the leftovers for me to find 🙄 @KOutdoors

Thanks Rebecca @bectill , yep most of my Crocus are in terracotta pots. I’ve just a couple of varieties in the ground where I had excess bulbs. I like to plant between 10-20 to a pot in a well drained gritty soil mix.
