Thanks all 😊, certainly getting a little feeling of spring in the air. Well, in the tunnel any way! Maybe not so much outside… sleet and cold this morning 🙄 @joanboston @Auricula @rikkie @juliesgarden @anges @hebelover @gjones @jeatacake

I'm not a big fan of yellow but I make an exception for crocuses 😄 Love this one 💛💛💛 You should make a little video of your crocus bed next year when they're all in flower again. I'm in peak iris atm. Crocuses are only just coming through. Only crocus tommasinianus for now.

Just shows the difference in climates from north and south UK. I have had all my Iris, and crocus (including the Dutch ones) in the garden already bloom and finish @ublaszko

Yeah, we've actually had a pretty cold week this past week which I've been hoping for so that my irises and crocuses last longer. Does the polytunnel shorten your irises and crocuses flowering time? I usually get 3 weeks out of irises and 4 weeks out of crocuses.

Oops, missed this, sorry! No, doesn’t really shorten it. Maybe longer, I’ll have to check. But definitely earlier! I’ve usually got the first ones starting just after Christmas/new year and the last one has just died off now but it was a straggler. Mostly green leaves now 👍🏼 @ublaszko

Sounds fab. Definitely worth it if you have the space and the means to do it. We're renting so the garden is temporary and it moves with us. 😂 I would love have a pergola to add a bit of height and shade. I can't cope with direct sunshine 😅
