Thanks Joan! It’s a shame I missed the flower, it unfortunately got a bit warm in here recently and it speeds up the growth of the tube and they just flopped over too quickly. I think it’s supposed to be purple inside 🧐 @joanboston

No... I’ve not accidentally merged two different plants 😆. The word reticulata is often associated with Iris (as in the dwarf Iris) but there is one species Crocus which has a reticulated tunic (lots of coarsely netted fibres) around its corm. I bought just one corm, have been experimenting with some new ones this year
