Back from hols and missing the tropical plant life already! It was great to see all sorts of plants growing well in their most favoured conditions. This caught my eye - I think it’s Crytostachys renda (Lipstick Palm) - with its distinguishable red crownshafts. It was only a small one, but still stood out from others. Not a native to #Mexico but I think originates from parts of Southeast Asia #crytostachys #crytostachys-renda #lipstickpalm #palm #holidayfind

So unusual! Just been reading about the Temperate House at Kew...we will have to have a #gtmeet to see it when it re-opens in 2018! Xx

Thanks Sam - loved it, and I feel I’ve educated myself on quite a few new plants 🤓 it’s a good job we have the Internet to do our own research! @icedance

Oh yes! Definitely Claudia, I’ve been waiting for like ever for that to re-open. I completely forgot it was next year. That will be a super day out 😬 - the plant nerd in me may go into overdrive 🤣🤓 @clipperty

It is one of the bonuses that we can get visuals on plants we’d maybe not see normally 🤓🤩Richard 👍
