This was just a small segment Sherri, this is the most southern tip of the island, and we had the Aegean Sea meet the Mediterranean Sea 🌊 - quite a dramatic meet - and very windy. Lots of wind surfers too! @sherrisgarden

06/09/19 - Been exploring the south part of the Rhodes in a car the last couple of days, and it’s been absolutely wonderful - been researching the local flora and found some beautiful things. At the very tip of the island is a large windy beach/dune where all the kite surfers and wind surfers hang out, and there are dunes full of wild Eryngium maritimum. Looks like I just missed the flowering period, but it has this silvery glaucous spiky foliage - tough plant for tough conditions 👌🏼
