It’s a bit odd this year Ange as Ive been digging plants up as I’m starting major cleanup and renovation work shortly on the garden. I normally keep most of my Eucomis in terracotta pots and then put them under shelter through the winter. I’ve only ever planted one in the ground before and it didn’t do very well in my garden so I never tried it again @anges - technically though it’s fine if the conditions are right. Eucomis bicolour is one of the hardiest of them, some of the others are tender

20/05/2019 - finally, third time lucky and I think I managed to source a supplier of this species Eucomis who has sent me the correct one 🙄 - Eucomis vandermerwei, this is a real spotty one #eucomis #eucomis-vandermerwei #eucomisvandermerwei #pineapplelily
