It's a bit late coming, but my other Crown Imperial,

Wow like the foliage on the top it's like it has hair 😍

Think i remember you planting these last year, stunning

Crown Imperial 'Aurora' is growing nicely, should be flowering soon. Just a single bulb, although wish I'd bought three now. #fritillary #fritillaria #fritillaria-imperialis #crownimperial

lovely and healthy looking

Looks promising 👍

I always wish I'd bought more of everything 😊

Can't wait for a piccy of the flowers! X

Will be interesting to see how this one compares to the 'Rubra' variety. Flower pics to follow soon. Thanks everyone 👍🏼 @legsley @latebloomer @marymary1 @fuschia @Squares

Thought I'd lost this one to rot as my others are almost flowering. But I was delighted to see this #newgrowth 😀 #fritillary #fritillaria #fritillaria-imperialis #crownimperial

Super! A nice surprise 👍🏻

Aw that's brilliant 👍

Coincidently, this was they very one I originally wanted over the other two, so it feels extra special that it's still alive 😁

It looks like long fingernails - French style

Beautiful
A real statement flower beautiful😍
@richard.spicer.7906 Love these Tried growing once but the bulb was eaten away by some kinda insect or probably a slug. Would like to try again when you see how beautiful they are but I think I would grow it on in a pot in the greenhouse well away from the beasties.
Lovely colours and great detail
Beautiful flower and so vivid :)
What a lovely colour
