20/02/19 - Snowdrop Update - Galanthus elwesii 'Rosemary Burnham', so pleased this is still alive, and it’s clumping up well. It has these amazing green stripes on the outside of the three outer perianth segments 💚💚 - it is a elwesii cultivar which is recognisable by the broad glaucous silvery-green leaves that are produced 👌🏼 #galanthus #galanthus-elwesii #galanthuselwesiirosemaryburnham #snowdrop #snowdropbed
Beautiful Richard

This one is lovely 😍
😍😍
Beautiful markings! @richard.spicer.7906
Love this one, I had no idea there's so many different ones 😀😍😀
Thanks all 😊 - this will I’m sure be one of my favs as it clumps up. Looks a bit lonely at the moment so hoping a few new bulblets form over the spring for next year. I definitely prefer those that I can tell apart - can’t be doing with these ones that look virtually the same to the non-experts Eye! @christineb @Urshy63 @juliesgarden @kimguy @sieveheadsarah
I've just been online and found Avon Bulbs, my favourites are Blewbury Tart, Franz Josef, Green Tear & Phil Cornish. I'm definitely going to start a little collection in my garden 😀😍😀
Avon bulbs is good, I got some from them for the last couple of years. Ashwood Nurseries is also good, as is Cornovium Nurseries. Harvey’s Garden Plants has a good variety. I’m off to a show on Tuesday so I’m bound to get some new ones! I did have Blewbury tart last year but it seems to have died off before it came up. Unless it’s a bit late 🤔 @sieveheadsarah
Thanks Richard, I'll take a look 👀. Fingers crossed your Blewbury Tart is a bit late, always horrible when a plant decides to die.
This one is my favorite! @richard.spicer.7906

This is my favourite Richard 💚
Wow
One of mine too Sarah - not the cheapest, but was so worth it! I think it’s come down in price since I bought but it’s a little luxurious treat @sieveheadsarah
The stripes are wonderful 💚 @joanboston
Oh my, that's beautiful 💚💚💚
Gotta treat yourself now and then Richard 👍🏼😀 I’ll have a look online and see what I can find.
Loving the green wider tepals 🤩
Thanks Jane, certainly one of the more colourful ones 💚 @pelly
Not many with this amount of stripes, I think they look quite unique 😊💚 @suerichards
