Hemerocallis 'Golden Chimes'

27/06/19 - Sun is out, yay! These Day Lilies opened this morning before I left home. I’ve just finished this afternoon my last of four RHS exams this week, and no more now till early 2020!! No rest just yet though, off to Hampton Court in the morning to help put together the display for the National Collection of Ginkgo this weekend ready for the opening event next week - it’s gonna be sweltering hot so hope I don’t cook in the heat 🥵

Aw, we need another meet-up soon Lin, it’s been too long since the last one (was it really as far back as Chelsea 2017? 😳). Well have to try sorting something out over the summer/autumn perhaps 👍🏼 @linfoster

😂 guns out for sure! I know, really didn’t enjoy these ones at all, and it was worse as it’s now summer and it’s hard to focus on revision when all you want to do is be outside 😩. Well see what the results are like, I’ve concluded I much prefer winter exams! Looking forward to next week too, is it Tuesday your going? @lexijane

You’ll love it, Rich. A friend did a HC garden many years ago and had a great time. She got a bronze medal and was absolutely delighted. I think that was the last time I went to HC 😢 What days are you helping out? 😘

I’ll be there for the pre-build this weekend, then I’ll be on the stand assisting Tuesday, Wednesday and then the last two days Saturday and Sunday. Gotta read up all about Ginkgo’s on Monday! 😂 @jacaranda
