Hosta 'Purple Heart'

14/06/19 - not sure how I missed posting this last year 🤔 but picked this up at the RHS Wisley flower show last autumn. I think it’s name suits it well 💚💜 and seeing as my garden is full of snails and slugs they seem to avoid this at the moment? (I’ve probably cursed it now!) #hosta #hostapurpleheart #foliagefriday

This looks like one I got that was labeled as 'Brim Cup' Richard, I wonder if it's this??? What do you think Kerry, could this be our unknown Hosta?? @kez001uk

Ooo quite possible Sarah/Kerry - there are a few purple/red stemmed Hostas out there now, but I know there is another one called Red October. Did you ever get a reply from where your ordered yours from? @sieveheadsarah @kez001uk

I'll tag you Richard. I didn't get a reply to my email, so I called them, they're supposed to be sending me another Hosta soon and then 3 more in November, I had to pick different ones as they didn't have what I'd originally ordered, I have a feeling that I'll be ringing them again soon!!! @sieveheadsarah I think I’ll give it another go. There’s too much I paid for and haven’t ended up with so they should at the very least be looking into why so many mistakes are being made. Thanks for the update Sarah 😊
