The Ipheion are growing extremely well. They stay outside normally but just before the buds open I bring them into the tunnel for a few days to watch the flowers open and avoid the rain/snow damaging them. They have multiplied quite a bit as I only bought a couple of bulbs #ipheion #ipheion-uniflorum #ipheionuniflorum #ipheionuniflorumfroylemill #springstarflower #starflower

I love these but mine haven't done very well. I'm hoping better next year 💜💜💜

Lol, sometimes I wonder if I spend too long in there, but at this time of year it can sometimes be quite pleasant. It’s boiling hot in summer so this time of year is when I spend most of the time in there. Watching all the bulbs come up in my new beds under the staging 😄🪑📸🌱 @sharonhayden @lesliecole49

Oh yes definitely Ulrika! I hadn’t heard of them until about 3-4 years ago when I saw someone else post them on here. Now I have four types 😄 @ulrikagustafsson

20/02/19 - Star Plant Update - Ipheion uniflorum ‘Froyle Mill’ , to go alongside the other Ipheion I have. It is such a lovely mauve colour, picked it up last week. Let’s hope it doesn’t take the same length of time to reflower as my other one! #ipheion #ipheion-uniflorum #ipheionuniflorumfroylemill #springstarflower
