Wow 😮
Alright frank? 🙋🏻♀️
Beautiful 🥰
Lovely!
Gorgeous 💙
What's the difference between this one and Katharine Hodgkin? My Katharine Hodgkin looks exactly like this one and I've been wondering for a while if I was sold the right cultivar.
They are similar, but i think Frank is paler, slightly more greyish and has a more orangey mark on its tongue. I think the blue on the standards is more vivid on a Katherine. You’d probably need to put them side by side to see the differences, but my Katherine Hodgson isn’t ready yet. @ublaszko
They look very similar. 😁
Frank's looking rather fine today 😍
You've got an absolute treasure trove in that poly tunnel 👍
Thanks Jeff - yes, pretty lucky to have now amassed all these. Hoping for a super display in a couple of weeks 😊 @jeatacake

17/03/19 - Dwarf Iris Update - Meet Frank, a new addition to my iris family 😄. Quite similarly to Iris 'Katharine Hodgkin', but much paler blue/yellow and finer veins (with a grey tone and has a more orangey stripe on its tongue 👅i think #iris #iris-histrioides #irishistrioidesfrankelder #iris-reticulata
🤣🤣😛👍🏼 very pretty Rich 💙💛
I thought you might appreciate my botanical terminology there 🤣🤣 @rachelbrooks
It's just so pretty Richard!
Nailed it! 👌🏼😆😆
Another job well done 🤗🤗😊💕
Gorgeous, he and Kathryn ought to date 💙💛😂
Wonderful markings.
That’s a lovely one! 💙💛
Beautiful.
Love the delicate colour, was expecting a prettier name to go with it 😂
Oh, they're gorgeous!
Frank, with petals fully expanded now 💙🤍 #iris #iris-histrioides #irishistrioidesfrankelder #iris-reticulata
Look at me, and why not your beautiful 👌
That’s a beauty Richard...but I thought they had long stems..🤔
Lol 😄👍🏼 @suerichards
Thanks Elaine 💙😊 - Some are taller, but this one I think has some parentage of a species called Iris histrioides in it, which would usually have low short flowers, appearing usually before foliage. The same applies to some others like Katharine Hodgkin, Sheila Ann Germaney, George and I think Lady Beatrix Stanley. @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
Fabulous 👌
Interesting...👍🏼 thanks
What a fun one. Lovely!
Just so delicately beautiful xx
Richard, where are the leaves? Do you prune them off or back to encourage blooms? I'm so confused!
Thanks Janice - quite a large flower too 😊👍🏼 @lovestogarden
Thanks Claudia 😘 I do love a dwarf iris! @clipperty
