The darkest one so far ‘George’ 💜 - if I recall I bought this in a sale after it had already flowered last year (which, by the way, is a cheaper way to buying bulbs compared to when they are about to flower, esp in Garden Centres although obviously dry bulbs are the cheapest in the autumn) #iris #iris-histrioides #irishistrioidesgeorge

there’s a few I always want Claudia but you can’t buy them yet 😂 - I met the Canadian breeder last year at an RHS show and he showed me all the upcoming cultivars that he expects to be commercially available in the next five years. Lots of exciting new colour blends, can’t wait 😀 @clipperty

I sure am @clipperty - booked a couple of days off on 12/13th, gonna go to the RHS London show on one day - on my regular snowdrop hunt 🤣 - and also got a new project to start, can’t remember if I told you I got a poly tunnel last year but it’s still in its box 📦🤦🏼‍♂️

Something to look forward to then - time off and a poly project! Chelsea Physic seem to have some amazing varieties for sale (follow @snapdragon_jules on Insta). ... Going to Kew again in Feb with Lesley Rach and Carol for the Orchid Fest. We all need to go again in May when the Temperate House re-opens 😃 Have a great weekend xx
