Meanwhile, at the better end of the garden, the Iris are looking suddenly glorious! It’s hardly flowered for the last five years, i divided it back then and it never really flowered as well. Possibly the wet May has helped as we’ve had very dry springs previous years. I left the self seeded foxgloves last autumn and they have grown well too.

It’s strange for me too, it’s a good year for the Iris, some I hadn’t seen in awhile. And we live in different climates. 🤔🌞

Divided a very large clump of Siberian Iris into about 9 pieces. I don't think it had previously been touched in years! 😳 - hoping for a good display next year 👍🏼

That looks like Montbretia to me... Does it have orange flowers?

Hi Justin, I recall they were purple like an iris. I have got some Montbretia and the leaves look a lot wider than these. I think it will be flowering in a few weeks so I'll post some more pics soon
