I know @lifeonaroofterrace 😀, what a treat! I kinda had an image of what it might look like in my head and from other pics online but it's always a treat to see it for your own eyes in your own garden. Had to wait a couple of days for it to fully open where it's been so cold recently.

Sorry to hassle but should iris bulbs be on the surface then our is this pre planting?

😀 no it should be planted beneath the soil - I just like to photograph my bulbs before I sink them as they all look slightly different in some way 👍🏼
