Morning everyone, hope you are all looking forward to a great Sunday. Knautia arvensis - Field Scabious - pops up every year in my garden, great for pollinators and wildlife 😊🦋🐝 #knautia #knautia-arvensis #fieldscabious #wildflower #beefriendly

Morning Rich, I love the colour of this one, I got one this year but it's a bit of a washed out pink. I was quite disappointed 💙💙

Thanks all, it’s nice to let some plants just go wild 😜 - sorry to hear you didn’t like the pink one. I must admit some are not as pretty as the species version. I’ll see if I can get any seed saved of this one for you 👍🏼 @pelly @kathy @natii @godfreye @harebell

Knautia arvensis (the Field Scabious) is great for attracting wildlife to the garden 👌🏼😊 - I spotted what I think is a Six-Spot Burnet Moth on one of my plants at the weekend #wildflower #moth #sixspotburnet #scabious #fieldscabious #knautia #knautia-arvensis

Some of you may recall i got to this point in bud back in June, then i went on holiday and the plant had died by the time i got back due to the hot weather. Well, i then found a seeding growing about 6 inches away that has taken and i'm now back where I started. Fingers crossed i don't kill this one and I get to see it bloom! 👍🏼

Well it's official! despite the self inflicted drought 4 weeks ago while i was on holiday, it's actually growing back. Maybe i will get to see it flower after all 🙌🏼

First casualty of the hot weather. Dried out while i was away, so didn't get to see it flower. I think its dead (bit crispy!) but is that a new self seeded one growing just next to it?
