Morning 👏🏼 - this has got to be the best Kniphofia I've ever had. It's a late flowering cultivar (hence its name) and it's a very large one so give it space. It's just two years old and it's already got around 20 flowering stems right now and about another 15-20 coming through below (just out of shot). It was bred by Hillier Nurseries, and I think I spotted someone post a pic from the Hillier gardens yesterday with the same Kniphofia in flower I think, which reminded me about mine.
Well I did think about putting in some practice for the Caber toss at the Highland games, but thought BT might be knocking on me door wondering where their pole went 😂 - and yes, very pumpkin colours 🎃 @rachelbrooks
Very pleased with it Carol - although will need to move it about 2ft to the right in spring as I hadn’t appreciated how big it actually gets and it’s swamped the Physocarpus just behind it 🤦🏼♂️ @carolgs
New one for the front garden, planted in June. Not seen it flower yet but as soon as I planted it, all the leaves flopped like this. It's recovered since! 😂 Planted 2nd June 2017 #kniphofia #kniphofiahappyhalloween #redhotpoker

(Soz about the telegraph pole and lamp post in the background, couldn't avoid them in all my pics without going onto my neighbours drive 😂)
You could’ve moved them 🙄 They do look like little pumpkins 🎃 (the flowers...not the poles)
There fantastic
Morning Richard very autumnal colour..👌🏼

It’s great Debra - if you have a Hillier garden centre anywhere near you they are likely to stock it 👍🏼 @debrascott
