I see no problem with this at all... matches a lot in my garden right now! Advice please also... in the autumn, what do you do with Kniphofia? Do you just leave them of cut all foliage down? Thanks Rich

@justin cut the dead flower stalks tight back and any damaged or dead foliage but leaving the rest of the foliage will protect the crown of the plant😊

Hey Justin - for this one, I just leave it be for the winter and then tidy it up a bit in spring where the leaves have gone brown. On another one I used to chop the foliage back but I’ve got lazy in my old age and it’s been left but does equally as well. So not sure if there is any benefit or not other than cosmetically over winter @justin @kathy - I’ll have a look in my books to see what is generally recommended

It's cloudy here in West London , Had a weeks holiday spent in the front garden .Plenty to take down to the recycle centre lol. Hope to finish off front garden today and tidy up the back and put in plants from Hampton Court.
