I know @titchyfra 😀, that's the case with a few of my plants this year. Strangely, I had these in a pot last year cause I didn't have any room. Too many weeds and brambles at the time 😂

I know what you mean @richard.spicer.7906 as I've moved a few bits around recently as I wasn't sure they were 100% happy or just that they'd outgrown they're temporary home because all planned jobs take longer than you think!!!!

I read somewhere @richard.spicer.7906 to cut down the green foliage down early spring which I did and nothing happened to mine for a while. Low and behold a few weeks ago I looked again and there were loads of the flower spikes appeared. 👯

I planted a few three summers ago, first summer was ok, last summer nothing this summer nothing, I was told they were indestructible, everything else has done really well......

@clearglass Hi Susan, mine took a couple of years to settle in, but I just ensure they have a good sunny spot and keep moist (but not sitting in water) - I tend to add grit to my soil to help improve drainage. Do you still have foliage? If not it sounds like they died. If you still have leaves then what conditions are they growing in?

The leaves are still there , they have sun when it's out , from sunrise till about 3 in the afternoon....drainage is sort of good, in a bed three feet from conifers, maybe need to move them...thanks for your help x

This is a variety of Kniphofia that I divided a couple of years ago. Not sure what specific variety, I have a couple of labels found but will wait for it to flower to be certain #kniphofia #kniphofiaroyalcastle #redhotpoker
