Indeed - they might have been hoverflies actually - I get so many in the garden, some almost the size of bees! @riakat @cyndi @fuschia

Beautiful colour😍 yes, I've learned the hard way too it pays to take the time to stake!

I was quite annoyed with myself last year Elisa for not doing it. Still, a lesson learnt! 😀 I had the same for another variety (Fire King - nice red colour) but it never surfaced this year so I think I lost the bulbs to rot. I'll restock this Autumn I think 😁 @riakat

Ah yes, Autumn bulb planning is already on my mind 😃 the bulb catalogue arrived in the mail this week....it's a dangerous time for my wallet!
