Anyone else currently sitting in the dark like me as part of the national grid’s energy saving scheme? I know you don’t need to turn your lights off, but every little helps 😂 📖 🔦 . In other news, it was the coldest night I’ve ever recorded on my polytunnel thermometer, -6.2C. Probably nothing compared to further north, but that’s a record for me. The heating doesn't come on until 8pm so I'm doing my bit 😁

When you get older the blood thins (I’m sticking to that fact even if it’s wrong…) I thank you for doing your bit to keep us oldies warm! Currently it’s teetering on the edge of -3 🥶. It will be so lovely to wear just a couple or three layers of clothes!! Loving Luzula’s white whiskers 🤍💚🤍
