Narcissus 'Conspicuus' syn. Narcissus 'Barrii Conspicuus'

One of my favourites, so pleased it’s back 🤗 'Conspicuus' or 'Barrii Conspicuus', the oldest #heritagedaffodil I think I have and registered before 1869 😲

Here is the first heritage daffodil - 'Barrii Conspicuus' - just opening in the last couple of days, so petals are a bit crinkly. Give it a couple of days and it will look wonderful. The centre cup is lovely, short too. Registered pre 1869 (an oldie!!). Very lucky to find these - one of the oldest daffodils varieties around. I didn't realise at the time when I bought them, but been reading up about them 🤓📖. I could only get 2 bulbs, but looks like they divide relatively easy. I'll keep them in a pot until I have increased my stock #narcissus #daffodil #narcissusbarriiconspicuus #heritagedaffodil
