Very soft and pretty 💛🌿

I think this almost counts as a old, but not quite historic - first registered before 1953, so still almost 65 years old. Second year in my garden, and it has these rather soft salmon-pink cups on them #daffodil #narcissus #narcissuspinksmiles

Still intrigued by the "pink" name part-is it a bit of pink hue to the white would you say?

I think so @riakat yes, when this first opened I thought to myself that's not pink, but over time the cup turns this lovely peachy colour so strange. I checked some online pics and it seems to be the same 🤔

@riakat they are a strange one given the name, but they are more peachy than pink really. I'm wondering if the trumpets change colour over time, so will keep an eye on them 😁

I wasn't sure whether to venture into the 'pink' daff space as I'm more a fan of the traditional yellow or white varieties. But I've decided to bite the bullet and I bought a couple. This one is 'Pink Smiles' , which has a peachy pink orange cup with white petals. 🤓 #daffodil #narcissus #narcissuspinksmiles
