That’s great! So pretty! 😀 I hadn’t realised just how temperamental nerines are. I’ve had bulbs for a few years. I got fed up waiting for them to do something so put the planters out of the way in an open cold frame. Low and behold, once I gave up on them, they flowered 🤷‍♀️

The Nerines have started - this is Nerine sarniensis, which is a more tender species than bowdenii, and has red flowers around October-November in the UK. It's my first year growing them so quite pleased they haven't yet rotted with the rain we had earlier this year. Needs good draining compost, and as with other Nerines I understand you don't bury the bulb and leave the top/necks exposed to the sun. They will come indoors over winter 👍🏼
